Retail shopping centers across the country are in flux and undergoing transformation. Shifts in generational thinking have spurred an interest in walkable environments and “instagrammable” experiences that the old shopping centers are unable to keep up with. This center is no exception but has tremendous potential and a motivated owner. The ten year masterplan creates an ecosystem of work, play, live and learn environments in a community of smaller, connected nodes encircled by walkable loops, which provide opportunities for face-to-face encounters. This center will be a one stop shop of complementary activities. In the process, it will aspire to be good stewards of the environment using renewable energy and recycling programs.
