Rogers Park is designed as a family entertainment venue with a great lawn and an amphitheater. The axis of orientation of these elements lead towards the point. The great lawn will house large community events such as the Liberty Fest, farmers market every week during summer. An outdoor amphitheater, seating 300 plus, and covered stage is part of the design with the existing wooded area and Verdigris river oxbow as a backdrop. Projected cost of construction: $5 million.
